Santos and her family recount their dangerous journeys from Honduras to Mexico and their time separated from each other in U.S. detention centers. They begin to reveal why they risked everything to cross the Rio Grande and seek asylum in the U.S. and how they’ve seen God walk alongside them. We also meet John Garland, lead pastor of the San Antonio Mennonite Church, whose community adopts Santos and her family as they get acclimated to life in a new country.
